Upcoming EAAE Seminar & EMS Annual meeting

Through the past year the agriculture industry in Ireland has been, and continues to be, tested by adverse weather conditions. Looking at sustainability in the future the European Association of Agricultural Economists (EAAE) will host their 166th annual Seminar in Galway on the 30th-31st August. In association with Teagasc , NUI Galway and FLINT talks will focus on sustainability within the sector in the current and changing environment as well as measurements, economic and societal impacts. This seminar will focus on the development of sustainable farm management practices and methods of creating incentives for the farming community to adopt such practices. If you will be attending the European Meteorological Societies Annual meeting in Budapest Hungary for the European Conference for Meteorology and Climatology 2018, from the 3rd-7th Septermber 2018,  the most relevant session will focus on Agricultural Meteorology and Phenology. This session will run on Thursday Sept 6th from 14:00-16:00,  a poster session will also be active on Friday 7th 10:30-11:30. The session program can be found below.
