As well as support nationally there is a well established international agricultural meteorology community. AGMET was founded in Ireland in 1984, and has the full title of Joint Working Group on Applied Agricultural Meteorology.  AGMET is a voluntary organisation which aims to bring like minded individuals together to help make better use of meteorology in Irish agricultural.
